    go to place where you see truck like yours. Ask driver repeat till one shows you what you need to know. Ignore any looks or comments. Everybody had to learn somehow. Most will help. Keep doing whatever it takes.

    If it's a new truck (which it sounds like) it should have a separate engine operators manual, the one's I've seen (DD13, DD15 and Cummins ISX) all have one and they had a pre trip sheet at the back with diagrams showing the parts...
