Or none of that could be true, he said it was restored, you can get a pretty good look at all that before you but it.

Lol why would anyone live there? If I want cold I'll go to Couer D'alene or Green Bay. LOL.
Yea its 12% FET and 7% sales in GA. That TK at auction looked better than the yellow one I posted earlier. What about the mechanicals tho @johndeere4020 ? For a first RGN, going OTR . Being OTR, I wouldnt neccesarily be disconnecting everyday. Maybe 4 times a week. What do you think about a 13-15 TK mechanical tandem with a flip? Say $28-30k..

    cke and Oxbow Thank this.

did I suggest that you move to Maine ?

I said you can title the trailer in Maine and they do not charge sales tax on trailer over 3k pounds. You use a title and license agent in Maine to process the transaction for you - so on new equipment you only pay the 12% FET.

by the way this also works for trailer that are used - no sales tax. It does not work for power units, sadly.

I will let you go on about your business - good luck.

Couer D'alene is wet, grey, beautiful in the summer, but not cold. Snows one day, rains the next.

I never paid any sales tax in Wisconsin on power units that I can recall. I had to pay a local tax/fee buying a truck in Phoenix once. If they could have met me at the state line with it woulda been free.
Trailers are no sales tax and $50 for a lifetime plate here.

I was just messing with you bud. One of my favorite foods comes from Maine. I was always wondering why I saw so many ME trailer tags even when the trucks were different states. That is something I will check out. what do the registering agents charge?

Aint it great? I LOVE that area from Spokane to Billings. I really would love to have a summer home there. Winter would have to be in the Gulf area.
