Have you had problems there in the past? They do have the capabilities of singling a truck out. Usually it's just a percentage based on ones scores. Then again there might be a newby working there and has the wrong switch flipped or something?

Well that's the strange thing, and why I posted asking about it; I get green lights practically everywhere else I go, all the time. The only place I seem to always get red lights is the EB / WB Boise coops. Even so, I used to get green there, but not now. Norpass is free so I know it's not from lack of paying the bill. My ISS is low, and calls for a 5% pull-in rate. Even this morning, the coop was closed yet they still gave me a red...

I'll call Norpass tomorrow and ask em. -
If its a big deal sit in the pre psss ..... green light every time
-
lmao you sit on it? If i was redlighted when empty i'm blowing by the scale I know a lot of guys that'll do it because their sick of prepass it's became a joke now. Specially after reading the thread about the company drivers that were getting pulled in and inspected because prepass was telling them too even with trucks that had less than 30,000 miles on them.

Pocatello is the same way sometimes, seems we always get a red light NB no matter what and a green light SB no matter what.

Was talking to a DOT officer at the Colorado port of entry in Durango Colorado last week, it is percentages based as told by his explanation and depending on the over all safety score of the company.
-
Yes, but this is not why I'm getting red lighted at Boise. It's actually based on ISS, which is Inspection Selection Score. Both my safety rating and ISS are good and I am in the 5% pull in rate category. At Boise however it has been 100% pull in rate for several months. Also, when I go in and ask for an inspection they refuse.aiwiron Thanks this.

I haven't been pulled into a scale in at least 2 years.. Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina and North Carolina don't really mess with us because our equipment that runs out of state is usually running good, only 1 driver has been put OOS in the past 3 years.

I get pulled in no matter what trailer or weight SB I-25 @ Ft. Collins, never get inspected, it's unlucky luck of the draw it seems. Co. usually has theirs set for every 5th truck to be red lighted, we have a very low CSA/ISS score, but we still get red lighted at that scale and green lighted at others.

Virginia and Tennessee are the only states I usually expect a red light but this trip I got all green. The last time I got a red light was the Lordsburg, NM scale and that was because it was after midnight and NM loves to do that at night, lol.
