: Note I quoted you by accident, sorry:
Benzo's are only prohibited if you are like me taking them for seizure control. This ban actually applies to any drug being used for that purpose. I don't know what the panel tests are for hair. I do know the FMCSA required urine testing does not test for Benzo's. So as far as urine tests go I doubt a Benzo is going to pop up. However because of "other" concerns I would not be taking a benzo and attempting to drive without at least discussing it with your private care physician. I take Midazolam for seizure control. I only take it as needed. I know how I feel 30 minutes after taking this medication. Knowing how this drug feels and how it effects me, would scare me to death knowing someone was driving an 18 wheeler.REO6205, x1Heavy and Brettj3876 Thank this. -
No. Sometimes no means yes. We need somebody from California to clarify this for us.Brettj3876 Thanks this.

No, I don't use it regularly just given in the hospital. Over two days maybe 150 -200mg?
-
When I was younger I was on Xanax for anxiety/insomnia (as needed not daily) and I fully agree I don't want to share the road with someone spaced out on benzodiazepines.
-
I wouldn't mention it, but if it shows up and they say something, then I would show them a letter from the doc. Never volunteer any information that is not specifically asked for.
Brettj3876 Thanks this. -
Of the Banzos I think Midazolam especially in my dosage is one of the nasty Benzos. This is also know as Versed and is used with Fentanyl to relax someone about to go through a medical procedure. I know they used this mixture on me back several months ago when I had my Heart Catheterization. Some of these Benzos are dangerous to take. When i see my seizures are starting to come in clusters I take Midazolam in syrup form. One of the directions was to stay in and don't even attempt to use stairs. Benzos are not something to be messing around with AND I think the FMCSA /DOT will look into them more.

A couple days of prescribed meds aren’t going to show up in hair. That test is for long term use/abuse. Doesn’t matter anyway, it was prescribed. Just be honest and you’ll be fine. Schneider may be thorough but they aren’t unfair or unreasonable. They want to hire you.
It’s a solid organization. Welcome. -
Solid lol , guessing your pretty new to Schneider.

Whatever.
