I am a current driver at Pride. Ive been through my share of bad to terribly ugly in the past 6 years. When I had a chose of companies this past November I chose to go to Pride. Im sLo glad I did. I have new equipment the route I wanted when I started promised pay, home time, and 7 months later a local position. I am known by my name rather than a truck number or driver code. Pride is far above the brothers in common of England... I like being treated with respect as a female in this very tuff industry. I have a great driver manager who actually ask me what I think I can rather than "forced dispatch" ... As for the per diam well it works.... I love my job now rather than dreading getting up... And there vehicles are all 24 months or newer. The shop is out standing. I couldnt have asked for anything better...

Heavens Angel - that's great to hear. I'm currently researching for a company to break into the industry with and Pride is one I've seriously considered, but I've read where they only allow a maximum of 4 days home time, regardless how long you were out. I would prefer to stay out for longer periods of time and then take more time at home. Is the 4 day max home time still the rule at Prime? Thanks -

He's at PRIDE NOT Prime...Pride only wants you to take about 4 days max too, I'm sure they would allow you to take more but you'll probably have to give up your truck. FYI forced per diem might seem like a good idea but there is 0 driver benefit. Pride is a decent company, I worked there with few complaints.

I bet there is a driver at Pride who just hates his/her job because not everyone gets the same equipment, workload, hometime, etc so take ALL reviews with a grain of salt
