Absolutely, they will. They don't push the lease at Prime, just let you know it is an option. They make it look like an attractive option, and it can be. But wait until you have some time behind the wheel (at least a year) before you make that jump.

ok well After a year with prime i am gonna switch to a local company so i can be home weekly so Prime is the only one who will take me after i get my permit n not make me wait 3 weeks sitting in a class room According to the recruiter

    · We pay for your Greyhound bus ticket to Springfield, MO.
    · 4 days of Orientation Tuesday thru Friday (Paid Hotel and 3 meals per day during Orientation
)· Over the road instruction with a Prime Instructor for 10,000 miles (approximately 2-4 weeks) and Prime advances $200 weekly
    · Over the road training with a Prime Trainer for 30,000 miles and $600 (or 12cpm whichever is greater). $25 is deducted weekly for advances if used.

    Starting Pay·
Reefer After training $.37cpm+$.05cpm for lightweight tractor (Eco49)= $.42cpmo You may add another $.05cpm for NE Regional
    · Flatbed After training start at $.39cpm
    · Tanker After training starts at $.44cpm

I Myself i am young only 22 so i am gonna go with Flatbed due to tarping the load, does anyone kno of a Video or Pictures of anything of there Eco49 Truck?

Eco49 is the reefer trailer. My profile has pics of the lightweight truck. Flatbed uses the big trucks. If you are doing PSD, you'll get AT LEAST 70 hours (but average appears to be 90 - 100) behind the wheel before taking your CDL practical exam. After that, you will go TNT for 30k miles. (You get 10k off, because, in theory, you've done some miles already). IF you do your TNT w/ a reefer trainer (and there are MANY MANY more reefer trainers than FB trainers), you will have to spend some time w/ a FB trainer to learn securement. How much time, I do not know.

I tried to get into Prime school but since I got fired from my last job they said I needed to wait 6 months or find a new job for 6 months with good report or something like that I forgot what the guy said. Kinda bull since it was not a trucking job but prime takes past employment serious and no 2nd chances/breaks.

Prime pays for all washouts, even if it is a out of network washout, Prime will reimburse the driver.
