Those three sections are what you need to study in the Maine CDL manual for your permit test.

I hope you don't mind if I ask a question here, as it pertains to the Prime CDL program. ^.^

I noticed that Prime has a tanker division. How long do you have to be with Prime before you can haul tanker? Is that something you work toward after you're on your own? My long term goals involve working in the oilfields, and many positions require tanker/hazmat endorsements, so I figure if I can get trained there early on, it would be advantageous.

I haven't applied with Prime yet, but I am considering them for CDL training (plus the commitment period), as their pay seems very fair compared to other entry-level OTR positions. Thanks in advance! :)

Got another Question, i kno you have to bring the 100 Deposit but i herd u need another 100 for the Road Test? so how much cash do i need to bring down? Also when u get the Advances can u get it deposited into a Bank instead of taking it from the ATM?

Yes $100 for orientation $ 100 for your cdl license and probaly another $ 100 give or take for snacks i doubt you can get those advances put on a atm card cause you wouldn't be a employee yet hope that helps.

There are PSD instructors for tanker so you could go that route from the start. If there isn't one available you would probably go through PSD on reefer then get a tanker trainer for the TNT phase.

    polarisryan Thanks this.

I talked to a guy yesterday doing TNT on flatbed and only had a few days left before he went solo reefer. we didn't have time time to talk but I hope he had some time on the reefer side before that. :)
