I cant do prime can't afford the fees up front. What would happen if I am approved for jim palmer but the class is full. Lets say 20 people are approved but they only admit 5 to a class. Do the other 15 just wait for the class slots to open up

Hello guys i talked to jim palmer. Haven't had my license long enough for them but i am moving forward with prime. I can afford those fees up front but just barely. They require a license for one year and also do the same training as jim palmer. Prime is running my records and i am scheduled for the February 6th class if I get accepted. I have a clean background, clean driving record and good verifiable employment history. Do you think i stand a chance at getting accepted

    Very good chance.

And, you could do much worse.....so don't worry. They are a good starter company, at least in my experience.

Haven't been here for three years, & now ready to put a truck of my own on with them for nothing. And, I do have many other options.

As long as they can verify them, you will be fine. Be upfront with the recruiters at Prime, so they can make sure you're ready to go on the 6th. Everything will work out for you if you are. The last thing you want to do is have to call around for info while you're here. I'm a Prime Company (Reefer) driver and I cruise at 60 mph and stay over 8 mpg per week. Word of advice, when you first go out with a trainer, you will be MOST LIKELY be the night schedule driver and trust me, I'm pretty sure you won't want to drive any faster than that at night just starting out. lol. You will do fine driver. Congrats in advance.
