I understand this question has been asked countless times already, and it seems they only do UA, but I've come to find out companies change their policies pretty frequently. As of April 2021 it seems they still just do urine but I haven't found anything more recent than that. My recruiter said any drugs in the past 6 months disqualifies you, and I told them I smoked marijuana a little over 2 years ago so that's what leads me to believe those who reveal they have used drugs in the past my get the hair test. I have heard that they may do hair testing "by request".
So can anyone confirm if they do hair testing as of very recently?
If you test positive for the hair test is the result reported to the DOT/FMCSA/Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse like the UA results are? I ask because I understand the UA test is mandatory DOT procedure while the hair test is up to each companies' discretion.
Don't waste your time with the whole "If you're even asking this question, you shouldn't even be thinking about this career." spiel. Just want a straight answer to my question if anybody is kind enough to do so. I don't care what you otherwise have to say about the topic.
Prime currently doing hair testing?

If you really smoked weed two years ago then stop talking about it. You’re only going to damage your chances of getting hired.
If you test positive the result will be in the clearinghouse and you’ll have to disclose it on every driving application from now until eternity.tscottme and Bohonzeman Thank this. -

Any non regulated test like hair follicle and others will not be reported. As such, depending on the wording of the application, you do not need to admit to them.roshea, joshuapowell61 and Bohonzeman Thank this. -
Positive result for EITHER test goes to the clearing house? Or just pee pee test?

I'm sure Western Express doesn't... and you might be really happy there.
