Glad yer back! Interesting how they helped ya out there!
Salinas CA... parked on a back street since the Inns were all overflowing early. Heard a lot o' biotchin' about random parking up at the Pilot. Fortunately those morons aren't adventuresome enough to look around for legal on-street parking.Easy Steamer Thanks this. -
dont really need to look around on the street. So many packing places with lots that don't notice or care if your not there to pick up.
I think its Taylor Farms that has a full on indoor snack bar/grill with seating and video games in a building on their lot. Another place has a permanent food truck.
heck, you don't even need the pilot unless you really need a shower or fuel. Plenty of scales around town. Cheaper too.
That other crappy truckstop gets a free pass to exist, they've got great tri-tip sandwiches. -
Correction... Tri-Tip Burrito MMMMmmmm!
On the plus side, there aren't 20 CRE bozos trying to run into you, and enough room to actually park without getting into a backing accident. -
Good Morning everyone, 0550, just left Norfolk on the Grey dog. Was 5 pounds over on my bag but she let me slide. The bag is 55 pounds and feels like 155. Old age creeping up. So, 32 hours and three busses to go and I will be in SPRIMO

FullMetalJacket and JimmyBones Thank this. -
It is 8:00 pm and I am in my room at the campus in, 36 hours on the dog, 4 different busses. Got here around 1:00 pm. Not much sleep but managed to get rehire urinalysis completed and maintenance video and test completed. Physical in the morning.

You are assigned your route on your load call, unless you are a lease operator then you can run whatever route you wish. Whats your FM saying about you wishing to change the route?
