Aww hell wish I had read that before I took off outta there this am

 

Picked up load in Ottumwa, ia. at the pork plant. Now sitting at a truckstop in mo. off of I-55 heading down to Hammond, la. by tomorrow night.

 

At the soringville, up flying j, found a spot in the front and was to tired to even consider backing in, so said screw it and pulled it nose in, but plenty of room behind me to get out...heading to Denver and driving over the Rockies for the first time, should be interesting (I went over with my trainer but it was always his turn to drive) both nervous and looking forward to it, it's nice to have a run that's got some fun in it

 

Don't know your route, but if going over i-80 watch the wind between Rawlings and Laramie, If high winds warnings are in effect and your light, don't be afraid of shutting it down.
If going over i-70, you have a long pull coming out of Denver going west,

Picked up a produce load out of Vineland NJ headed for a 2 stop in Wintersville WMDC and Auburn IN WMDC. Some nice guy hit a power pole and caused a 4 hr delay. My appt was 2pm, finished loading at 1110pm and got my paperwork at 1145 PM. Decent little lot behind the Wal-Mart in Vineland for O/N parking. Student drove through Baltimore on day 6! now we will see how he does on the PA turnpike to I70. I won't let him drive the state road up to wintersville this time. Those who have been there might understand why. Those who don't, well, you might not want to drive that road either

 

Im pulling it up i70, should be fun

 

Which way are you going? Curious as I always just run across 22 which ain't bad at all.

 

Plan for chains and extra time for a really slow pull.
