I'll knock Prime. Mega carriers suck. Small carriers are where it's at

Mega's don't haul hay either, except during severe drought. The small carriers have good shoe scrapers on the step too. Can scrape the BS of the bottom of the boots after loading hay and stepping in it from those nosey cows hanging around staring.

I see. Part of Arizona was thinking a company would likely hire me to run south west.

I don't know how my.homestate factors into what areas i can work or which companies will hire me starting out. Arizona was right in the southwest and.in have friends but Texas RV club or another tax free state Is a goal.

I'm Definetly going to research more. Prime is the easiest route. For some reason i think cdl schools are scams but they do give you leverage. I don't want to get #### on either my first year. I imagine it's difficult enough. I'd like the luxury of walking away to another company if it stays horrible too long.

Thanks guys. I have more options now. I'll be researching.

Set up new residence...find cheap school..or some way to cdl..get good starter flatbed...if not..indentured servitude.

Some of us enjoy smelling manure.
Rather smell manure and have it on my boots than try to have it fed to me from dispatch at a mega.

Posted by accident. Good is cheap. Lol.
Thanks. I'm saving till work runs out and headed to Tucson. Stopping along the way. RV club was on my list but Cdl school in Arizona if it's affordable.

I'll research and maybe my friend knows something. Real estate contractor type.

If not. Prime. Hopefully he'll know where a truck and trailer is. Passing a cdl can't be that hard. Lol. In figure two days backing. Lol.

The pre-trip inspection is the hard part; that's where most people fail at the DMV. They won't even give a road test until you pass the pre-trip inspection. You must touch each part you're inspecting, name the part, state what you're inspecting for. Sometimes might be 150 questions. In cdl school you'll do this every day for 3 or 4 weeks until you get it right.

Many companies will reimburse the cdl school tuition back to you in monthly installments.
