ORD, I'd love to haul those towers again. They were easy and paid good. And when you got to the job site it was up to you if you went off road to the work site or if they had to unload you on the hard surface. Carried paperwork from the shipper stating it was up to the driver so there was never any arguing, just a few upset contractors. It's hard to make a 90 degree turn on a single lane road going into a tower site.

I can imagine lol Prime has a gauranteed minimum rate paid over a period of time. Its in your FMs best interest to keep you out of the hole. From what Ive heard, they get fined every week youre in the hole. They also get paid a salary, plus a % based on how much you make. So the more they can get you, the more they get. Im a company driver so I dont know about rates. AMA is the only flatbed l/o on here for Prime, and he rarely posts. Rates depend on the load. Some Ive heard pay REALLY well.
Emolson Thanks this. -
I don't really have an opinion on that I think any one that interests you is a good place to start. You can switch divisions later if you find you don't like where your at.long_run Thanks this.
