You don't have to go flatbed to stay in shape. You do know there are fat flatbedders too don't you? The main thing to do is don't overeat an eat fried foods and chips and drink sodas all the time. As long as you exercise(walk, run, etc.) on the days you are off and part of your ten hour break, you don't need flatbed work to keep you in shape. Even tho i am not stopping you from being a flatbedder, just don't use flatbedding as an excuse for exercise.

I work, not work out. It is physically demanding work, and a lot more interesting. Can take a lot of thought to secure a puzzle load where they just shove stuff in at random wherever itll fit. Yes there are fat flatbedders

ORD im currently in the reefer div. im still in training ive got about 20k left before i could upgrade how many miles did you log before you felt comfortable in the flatbed div.?im thinking of switching over sometime as alot of the local jobs ive found are for flats here in the south east, also is it true you have to buy your own tarps ,chains, straps, chain dogs? if so how much are they? im pretty lazy lol so i like my training walls but im thinking about my future beyond prime

Hope to meet ya too. Ill definitely try to be safe...

Yes you have to buy your own equipment. It comes as a package from Prime. It comes out to the truck on a pallet. The package is 2500, taken out in payments.
