Great to hear! I'll be a new Comer to the flat bed division. I'm excited about the work and opportunity. After I complete all my training and am cut loose, what can I expect? Does the freight run nationally or regional? I love on the east coast, are there lucrative lanes there?

Freight is national for flatbed unless you get in the Texas regional, and I believe you need to live in the TX OK area for that.

You are paid by the mile unless you go lease. Word of advice, stay company until figure out how things work, a year or two, and to see if you can tolerate it.

Great advice and seems to be the consistent word.

They are starting to put them in. The camera facing the driver is opt-in.

I would get my own, lots of stuff happens that won't trigger an event for the cam to keep the data.

    Royalmac Thanks this.

Im definitely going to get my own, not trying to get blamed for an accident that wasn't my fault in the first place.

Been a while. I came into prime almost 2 yrs ago. I absolutely love running FB as a company driver, been to all 48 multiple times , have a good idea of what freight comes from what area and avg bout 7.8 for a few months now. Thinking bout goin lease, could some experienced FB lease driver explain a few things ? Such as how the surcharge works, is it 2 or 4 wks u get before trk payments start and does prime take out for a tire fund/ maintenance fund. And is the trk payment including plate, permits etc. I've already paid off my equipment and had a fridge installed into my trk so I was also wandering if I can remove and install the fridge into a lease trk myself? Anyone that could answer my ?s or point me to the info is appreciated.
