Not trying to diminish the awards, but if you simply do your job you get the award at various intervals.

PTC is on time delivery award. Then there is the safety one (no accident)

In the first 2 years it equates to some patches, a couple of jackets, a couple of hats, a travel bag, and some "prime bucks" that you can use in the company store.

At two years it's a diamond ring, with a diamond added every year. Prime bucks here and there.

I wasnt trying to take the joy from anything.

So then I gave him what he wanted... a pity party... because in his imagination, he thinks my first post was picking on him.

Lets pull back the curtain a bit more and be honest, thats what this site is about, right?

I challenge anyone to dispute that these awards are simply milestones of doing your job correctly.

The computer tracks these things and spits it out in an auto message on your QC at the appropriate time, and flags your driver code at the company store that awards the prize. If you mess up, then you start back at zero, and do not collect previously awarded prizes. The distinguishable achievement here is aggregate... each award better than the previous.

I'll ruin your birthday too while Im at it. Your FM has a calander and if he chooses he can enter important dates about you and then forget about them... then the computer spits out an auto QC message congratulations to you for birthdays and anniversaries when apropriate.
