Ahhhh I see. Well I suppose I'll just learn like everyone else has. I'd have to think hard about flatbeds. I have a shoulder that was tore up a while back and still gets to hurting from time to time.

The steel beams are normally preloaded, and the shipper always provides the dunnage. I've seen a lot of guys that carry a step ladder.

Prime has a video that shows how to tarp. Youll learn all that with a trainer.

When hauling coils normally you have to provide dunnage. Some places will provide the dunnage, but you have to have coils racks.

Well got a load out of the yard. Lumber heading to Ga. Heavest load Ive had so far. According to the scale at the yard I weigh 79960 ish. By some miracle Im still getting over 7mpgs... Well see how long that lasts. Before I was able to leave the yard my FM told me to go over to freightliner and have them download some info off my truck. From what I understand the info is supposed to help them determine if theres anything killing my fuel mileage. Uh.. Ya... hills, weight, and gravity. According to the tech my average for this month has been 7.8MPG. Dont know how, never had a WEEK over 7 so far... FM said my driving is fine, just checking out the truck now.
