Recruiter doesn't set policy. All I can say is that JCW was asked to consider training (not because checks were short or any of those reasons.) We had some discussions, but the conclusion was this: I trust him, or he wouldn't be out there. However, I have seen how women can manipulate a situation. It's not worth his career to take the risk of training a woman. It only takes one vindictive woman to end a career. And THAT'S why a vast majority of male trainers won't train women. There are some who do. They don't work for Prime. It's been stated around these forums that if a lady really wants to work for Prime, she should seek her training elsewhere, get in however much time Prime says you need, and then come to Prime.
I do understand your circumstances are unique. But a several million dollar hole in Prime's pocket caused this policy. I am unfamiliar with the options of changing your legal gender, but if you really want to train with Prime, that would be an avenue to pursue.

Home-time is my least worry! I would prefer to be out. So I plan to work 6 weeks at a time and than take a mini-vacation for 6 days then start over again!
-
if your planning on 6 days at home they will more than likely have you park the truck at one of the terminals

Exactly. I wasnt goin to say that word for word, but its all right.
Not supposed to take more than 4 days off at a time. I did take a week off, but I stayed out 4 months straight.Newtrucker83 Thanks this. -
This is great info to know. I was told I could take 6 off, but no more than that! Thanks.

They dont want you to take more than 4 days off. My FM told me to take 7 off due to being out 4 months straight. Now hes asked me 5 times in 2 weeks "hey, when ya goin home again"... Last time I was there was the beginning of April

well as you said, if you have no reason to go 'home' why bother. you got 'home' on wheels. could always have him/her bring you into terminal for a break.
-
Thats what I did last time lol Was why I wasnt in a hurry to leave SpriMo. Still got paid for sitting there though lol FM keeps asking me when I want to go back "home". Truth is... I dont. No reason to go back. Im just a modern nomad
Newtrucker83 Thanks this. -
Uh....no. Never go to a terminal unless you have to. You have a CLOSET on wheels. You can take your home time anywhere. Pick a place on the map where you wanna visit. Do a little research to find a SAFE and SECURE location for your truck, rent a car and see the sights. A truck stop is not a safe and secure location. We're lucky. We can park in our driveway. If it's too wet, there is a neighbor with a more stable pad than our driveway if he's under load. You need to get by your mailbox at least on occasion to empty the mailbox.

You had repairs that needed to be made. That's a wee bit different. Take some time and grab a motel room somewhere you'd like to visit! Play tourist! I know you got your buddy to think of, but I'm sure you can think of something.
