Prime has the crappiest governor... What 50 miles an hour? Thats bad.. kills you on your milage pay..When I worked for covenant and I seen prime truck?? Dood it looked like a snail on the road.. I guarantee frustration will kick in after a week of driving with them..

 

When did they boost it to 50? Dang fast snail!!

Hi everyone. Newby here first post. Thanks for all the info about Prime. I was almost to go with Swift since I live in the Phx,az area. I started reading post on Prime and was impressed. I do have a question, if I have my CDL permit from AZ will I have to re-test in springfield,Mo?

 

Do you have a class A? Do you have any road experience? Did you go to a school? I came here with my cdl class A and the set me up as an Seat C because I went to a school. Someone else came with theirs without going to school and had to go thru as a psd, which is the school and such. However they didn't have to retest.

 

no school. no road experience. just studied on my own and got a class A permit. I wasn't sure if I would have to te-test to get a permit in springfield. Also have have concern about home time in Az if prime doesn't have that much frieght out west.

 

No, you won't have to take the written again. We have plenty of freight out there, so hometime shouldn't be an issue.
