Don't worry, this thread will end up like all Prime threads eventually. Do you ever wonder why that is?

You can bet that they have. I am certain they are charging practical miles, but paying short miles. The fact that they will pay up if you complain almost verifies that. Add in Prime's extensive history of ripping off drivers and you can almost bet it's true.

I don't feel ripped off, nor do my copies of the freight bills indicate that.

I'm not going to start a peein' match with you on this thread - if you want to do that, please go over to the "bad company's folder" and start something there.

Thanks BBrad...but after you get there how does it work as far as testing with newbies? How many days and what does the orientation include?Unless they don't want to reveal their info on here...guess I can always go on their website.

Otherwise,I guess I will keep an eye out on the posts here.

If you want to fly you need to buy the airline ticket, and Prime (at least they have in the past) should reimburse you the price of the bus ticket. Your cost is the difference, and you'll need to talk to your recruiter about this up front.

    You're most welcome.

I came here with my CDL already so my experience will be a wee bit different from someone coming in as a brand new driver. If you come in without a CDL you're considered a "PSD" (Prime student driver).

If you'd like, PM me your cell and I'll text you. You can ask me questions that way and I'll find you the answers . I've got a few pals here who are PSD guys.

Anything I can do to help!

WOO. I'm one of the PSDs that BBradUMA is talking about. If you have questions, PM me as well! I can let you know how things work on the total newbie side of stuff :D
