It means that for whatever business reason there are 232 loads that Prime is offering on the open market to independent owner operators or other freight brokers.
-
It also means that a poster who noted that PRIME does not have enough freight to keep its drivers buisy , has more than enough for its fleet.
Most mega carriers have excess loads and post them on their company load boards. -
I dont know where you got your info, but there is no "Start Right" program for company drivers.
"Start Right" is for Lease Operators only.DragonTamerBrat Thanks this. -
I expand a little on what you said.
go to Prime website. Go to "Drivers" from the top bar and "Drivers Online"
Find and select "web imaging" from the left side bar.
Select "Company Driver" and enter your driver code and PIN
Click on "DPREPORT"
DPUNIT is your truck number. you can click "submit" from there. Payroll statements are listed by date. Your statement can sometime be 2 pages, which is why there are sometimes two selections for a given date.
Now if you are like me and have 4 years worth of payroll statements and dont want to start out with statements dating back to 2008... clicking page after page to get to 2012, you can get a shorter more recent list enter a "from" date in the format MMDDYYYY (Month Date Year) -
Answer to you 1st question, don't drive no faster then 55 mph and use the cruise on the hwy.Lay off the foot pedal.Tell the customer to load you light, lol.
-
Let's see. Hubby drives 56/57 got 8.81 mpg this week. Loads from 9k (Desoto, TX to Loveland) to 28k PA to Paris to 43k (Current, Dodge City, KS to Indianapolis). This week, so far he's over 9mpg. Each truck has its own sweet spot, and it can take a little bit to discover where that is. I know of several that are driving 60-62 and getting fuel bonus. During experimentation change ONLY one thing at a time.
ONLY use the cruise in the flats on open highway, NOT in any city, and certainly not in anything remotely hill-like. -
Wait... you mean I CANT drive through town with the cruise set?! Whats the fun in that? lol
-
LOL, what speed would you set it in the construction zone that is Tulsa?
-
I drove through that mess the other day... IT SUCKED!!! I dont think the cruise would keep working through there lol too bumpy
