Well that's good because we have training and we have freight. Unlike a lot of the competition, Prime is in good financial shape, and we're looking to pick up some market share as the weaker companies crap out.
Been updating a lot of receiver instructions of late... that means we're picking up new accounts...
Prime Inc. has no loads?

How long have you been with them?
-
Best I can tell. He has never been with them. He "claims" to have been with Roehl for some time.
He has posted that same statement on 2 other threads, 2 other companies. -
If that is his opinion he has probably never been with them. They are good with a few things but once you realize that they aren't as good as they tell you they are you will come to the conclusion that they suck. They have their Friday morning meetings and tell you how they are the best company out there and that Robert L cares so much about you. Well if he did care so much he would charge a little less than 960.50 per week (mine was) plus .045 per mile for that lease payment. After the lease is over you can buy it for 52,000. Lets do some math
787.00 (Truck payment not including ins and stuff) x 160 (weeks lease term) =$125,920
450,000 apprx miles after 160 weeks x .045 per mile= $20250
125,920 + 20,250= $146,170 + 52,000= $198,170 for that 2008 Freightliner I had. You can buy one outright from a dealer for less than $100,000. Well hell yes he cares about you he sees ATM machines walking around his yard begging for loads anymore. He doubles his money with every one he leases.Last edited by a moderator: Jan 18, 2009

BigKid - you the guy I'm thinking of? If so, then disclose that you have an axe to grind with Prime! I'd be pissed too, but not at Prime - I'd be pissed at the jerk who "outed" you. You should have kicked him off of your truck.
So... you're saying he's an a-hole for being a successful businessman? He puts his money on the table to obtain a truck for you to use in the operation of your business - and you're saying for doing you that favor, he doesn't deserve anything in return? If you get a loan at a bank, they charge you interest. You sublease a vehicle from a businessman, and he doesn't deserve anything for risking his capital for your personal benefit? Come on dude! Get real! You don't like the terms don't do the deal - it's that simple.
I think you're trying to do the same thing - make some money. If he doesn't make money in his business, he'll be just like all the other failed trucking businesses - closed. That'd suck... I'd be out of a job too! -
Your job and company, is secure until he decides he doesn't want to play with trucks any more. He has the money, no doubt.
His deposits were $3 million, the Sunday after Thanksgiving. And it didn't say Prime Inc. on the deposit slip. -

If anyone is getting a recruiting bonus over at the other site, its pretty underhanded, and not in the open... I sure hope no one is hitting up newbies/visitors for referals. It would seriously change my opinion of some people over there.
It's totally different if a visitor likes the info he got from someone and suggests it himself.
As for recruiting in Truck Stops... Its Fair game for those guys, cuz you have to look them in the eye if your going to BS...
The extent of any recruiting I have done is toss a packet to a guy at a truck stop who initiated and asked for info... I was in a hurry, and didnt bother telling him my name.
Too many finger pointing around here to even give someone my name or email address, I dont even answer Prime related PMs. I dont want my story/experiances tainted with a recruiting label.Last edited: Jan 18, 2009
