Prime Inc.-The trainers

Some instructors won't do the tnt phase because they can't sleep behind someone. Many instructors I've spoken to take a student from PSD to upgrade. Doing that, they know how the person drives, because they taught them. If the student/trainee n the instructor/trainer get along, it works out best for both to keep going together.

 

They don't get along- for a few reasons. However, he doesn't want to rock the boat- is it a norm to just request some diff?

 

He can request a different trainer, no repercussions. Some people just don't get along. He's gonna be out for 30k. That's a minimum of 6 weeks pushing HARD. Going out w/ someone he doesn't get along with will be bad for so many different reasons.

 

He needs to find a different trainer then. He should speak to his FM when he gets in a about it. Many guys have had this problem n gotten a new trainer. He's going to be stuck living with this guy for atleast 6 weeks, if they average 5,000 miles a week. They need to get along. If he feels he's not being taught what he needs to know then... He needs to remember he will be driving alone, while his trainer sleeps. The safety of the truck will be HIS responsibility (and it is a big one). Does he feel hes been taught what he needs to know to do that?

 

The amount of time he has already spent has been undelightful--- however, he cusses in his head, and to me of coarse, and is respectful to the trainer because it is the guys truck afterall and his space. Who would he request this to?

 

His current FM, when he rolls in. (I think. I'm just a wife stuck at home...something JCW wants to change in a few years.)

I tell my kids (17, almost 12, oh, and the 45 year old): grit your teeth, smile sweetly, say "I'm sorry youfeel that way" and say whatever you like in your head as long as it doesn't pass those lips! My 17 yo has spent the last several months cussing out one of her coaches continuously in her head. (She has good reason, and we HOPE that problem is now solved. If not, my next stop will be a particular sport's governing body. As well as the local law enforcement, they take a dim view on child endangerment.)

 

He would talk to his FM thats correct. Tell him the situation n request someone else for tnt.

 

And before you know it, I'll be *rah, rah, sis boom bah-ing* for your guy to pass his final test.
