Hello, I had an issue last night with the engine just stalling on me on the highway. I pulled over to the side and tried cranking it again and it turned on for about 40 seconds. I was able to get back to the yard but again the truck shut off and wouldn't start back up. I attempted to put starting fluid in the air flow and it turned on but again shut off after 40 seconds.

I saw that the filter housing was empty and it's been a while since we replaced it so I figured that it would be filling up as time went on but it just always looks empty.

I tried priming it again and it finally turned on but it shut off again after a few seconds and all the primed fuel that I used just got eaten up again.

Any idea of what it could be? Check valve on the housing? Or dirty filters?

The check ball blocks the fuel from going back in the tank when you shut the truck off. You could have a loose fitting or bad hose between the fuel pump and the tank or if you have 2 tanks the splitter valve or the oring s on the filter head or a cracked filter head. Does it do that when the fuel tanks are full? One tank could be empty?
