Well after only one week as a prime lease operator i can truly say it is one of the biggest scams going. This program is designed so that some else pays the truck payment, tractor and reefer fuel, insurance, lumper, fuel taxes and other fee's so that Robert Low and his group of ripoff fleet managers get wealthy. For anyone who is thinking of doing this I repeat "DON'T DO IT ". More info to come!

its only been a week give it some time and you should of realized those things before you jumped into it

There is a reason many people refer to "lease purchase" as "fleece purchase". It is because you are being fleeced. When I see Prime bragging about paying lease completion incentive bonuses in the "news release" section of the little truck mags, I thought it seemed weird. If their lease stuff was all on the up and up, lease completion bonuses would be common enough there wouldn't need to be a press release about it.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. There is never a shortage of stupid people in (or entering) this industry. Were that not the case, lease purchase scams wouldn't exist.
With all the opporitunities people have to do research, ask questions, READ they still get involved in these ######' things!! They deserve what they get. -
There's plenty of people who do well in the lease division at Prime, and many more who have purchased tractors as well. It's a business opportunity which entails risk - which means there is the possiblity of failure. Without risk, there wouldn't be the possibility of success. You've got to be a business person in order to succeed, as well as a driver.
So let's see what the OP has to say...DragonTamerBrat, DrtyDiesel, Lonesome and 1 other person Thank this. -
One week is not enough time to make any sort of decision about anything.
Give it three months before you bag it. -
