I recall $1.398 for Q2 so its all the same.

So you said you were in the mid $1,200/wk range after taking 20% out for taxes? If that's the case then your doing well that puts your actual net to the business the mid $1, 500/wk range. That's pretty good especially for somebody just starting out.NavigatorWife, darthanubis, FullMetalJacket and 1 other person Thank this.

I've cleary stated that I was an o/o and that I hold paper on the equipment in every post that I've talked about money on this forum. I've been up front about this. I have a lot of capital in my business over six figures and you'd better believe I expect a return on that investment, wouldn't you. I don't think its reasonable that a new driver would expect to make what I do. I've avoided talking about gross because everytime we do somebody shows up, tells us we're what's wrong with the industry because we don't expect some pie in the sky rate. So knowing these folks are usaully full of bs I just talk net.

Just to clarify, the 670 and 2304 were actual net (before taxes).
So, it looks like I was using a term and throwing out numbers incorrectly. Sorry for the confusion. So, just in case anyone is following, and keeping in mind I only have 8 weeks under my belt (which is why I've been averaging weeks instead of months) :
1st month net: 4942 (1235 a week)
2nd month net: 5365 (1341 a week)
Again, this is just me taking what is deposited into my account (after truck payment, fuel, etc, but without taxes) and adding them up.FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
Turn truck in and just be a company driver, you'll make that much with no truck or tax burden.

I'm in Maine now. On the way to my 90 ( not Walmart) I saw a Walmart trailer being pulled by a prime lightweight.

We totally have this contract. I was there and did a local run just last weekend. He was saying we might lose the contract.PChase Thanks this.

Walmart pays tolls.

I know what net is, and I moved past that definition in my first post. Why are you still focused on the word?
