Lease guys pick from the pool of available trucks at that time in Pittston. The only instances I have heard of drivers being allowed to go to another terminal is when there are no trucks available at the site of orientation.
Company guys have a truck assigned. although if they are assigned a light weight Pete, ive heard they can have a non light weight assigned to them (still no choice).
One thing you should know.... Don't think you are smarter than everyone else and skip classes so you can be the first one to the lease office to be first in line to pick out a truck... You will not have been the first to try this, they keep an eye on this, and you will either end up at the end of the line or worse. -
Thanks.....people do that?......it takes all kinds is the terminal in Pittston the old TLC building?? will Greyhound know to drop me in Pittston or where?and how I will i get to Pittston if drop in Scranton? so are the ttrucks nice inside>

Actually, no, it meausres how massive you are, under the ridiculous notion that fat is the only thing that makes you bigger. My bmi is 31.3 and i'm not even close to being fat.... -

When a lease-op (or for that matter a company driver) turns in a truck, they are completely detailed - they look like new unless there has been some serious interior damage done by a previous occupant. AZ Cats... a company driver is just as likely to trash a truck as a lease op is - so don't go getting all defensive here. I have had three trucks now... two were turned-in lease trucks. They were both fine - the first one did have a very slight hint of nicotine, but that is truely hard to get rid of - that c.r.a.p. gets everywhere and sticks like glue. The second was just like new after detailing.
As a company driver, you get what they assign you. It could be an older Century, aero-Pete, a Cascadia, or one of the lightweights - Columbia, Pete or Prostar. You will get to choose from what is there, and they will open up a new one only if they have to. Its up to the leasing office... they control truck assignments for everyone - lease or company.
The lightweights do have an advantage in being able to pull heavier loads that you can't in one of the Condos - gives you an advantage in competition for loads. Disadvantage is they are smaller and have less storage space, and the APU issue is still open on them.
