    It allows you to do stuff to the victim (aka driver) that you can't with the real hardware.

    I did flight sim engineering for awhile. The check pilots told us that the guys who got the sim training were much more prepared for the flight training goals than the folks who just went through the ground school classes. The point? You can treat it as BS, or you can try to get something out of it and be ahead of the guys playing it as a video game.

    I got a lot out of it, dont get me wrong. I still want one for the house though... Just not the same as a real truck, but safer to learn on.

    Only issue I had was the fact that I wear progressive (bi-focal) lens. Driving I look out the top to see the road and the bottom to see the gauges and controls. On the Sim I had to keep looking through the bottom to see everything; because of sitting so close to the screen, LOL:biggrin_2554:

    Well... if they weren't cheap on the out-the-window video, and got one of those curved-screen jobs that's focused to infinity!

    :biggrin_25520:

    Ya know... I'd just settle for a couple of AGM-65s to blow those darn 4-wheelers outta the way! It'd do a job on that simulated bambi too!

    So, I now have about 31k mile, and I'm finally heading back to Springfield for upgrade week. I have to say Prime is top notch. I almost wish I would have gone through the entire psd process as well. I had one pay pickup along the way, but that was mainly my fault for not understanding policies completely. If anyone ever says Prime has no miles or Prime pushes you into bad situations, then that person needs to take a real good look at themselves before blaming prime. Prime goes out of there way to ensure that there drivers are trained correctly and efficiently. I will definitely recommend prime to any new or existing driver out there. I've been training now for 2 months, and have been through every state except 4, which I'm sure I will see in the future. I will keep on updating as I go, And i will post pics of some of my loads and new truck as I get them.

    HAHA :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:

    I walked in later than everyone else and asked where the change machine was. Wally was cool, the other guy was offended. IDGAF cause I thought it was funny as sugar honey iced tea, and so did some of the classmates:biggrin_255:
