I asked this a while back, but didn't get any definitive answers.
Figured I'd try the new crop and see if anyone had experience with being hired, fired, or rejected for while being prescribed antidepressants such as Zoloft, etc.
Thoughts?
Prime okay with antidepressants?

Well I can tell you that a couple of companies I applied at just ask me to get dr to sign off saying I was ok to drive. One company didn't ask for anything ( JBS Carriers)
CurbJumper Thanks this. -
Why would you tell them? None of their business
12 ga and CurbJumper Thank this. -
You have to disclose all the prescription medicine, thats in the job description.
NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
Think I'd still pass on giving them that sort of info. The less they know the better.HalpinUout, 12 ga, rachi and 1 other person Thank this. -

Anybody know if Prime requires some sort of correspondence with employee doctors, written or otherwise?

Would anybody be OK with someone rolling 40 tons down the road with mental health issues?
Granted most people are undiagnosed, but those that are must declare. It they don't and it is revealed in an accident investigation, well you can imagine the fallout.NavigatorWife Thanks this. -
There are no laws against doing ANYTHING while depressed. What a ridiculous response. Let me guess, you believe marijuana should be illegal also huh? If your doctor says your OK to drive, it's between you and the doctor, there is absolutely no need to bring your employer into it. I took some, Prozac, for a little but but didn't like the way they made me feel so I quit. Not sure why I'd ever feel the need to inform anyone else.Ami M, T_TRUCKER., HalpinUout and 3 others Thank this.
