Prime- only newbies sing the praises 2

No amount of cheerleading in this world can hide the fact that prime is, as Missouri has said in 'Only the newbies sing the praises 1' a "predatory" business. I mean you gotta experience it for yourselves folks.

Human dignity must be worth nothing to rob low and he communicates that well to his lieutenants. You taste the poison in person and through the communication lines no matter how well you perform.

bigblue19 is right when he says: "A new person considering a OTR career must remember that it's more then just a Gypsy lifestyle. It's weeks of long hours (many unpaid) doing one of the most dangerous jobs there is."

 

Well; one way to find out for sure go there for yourself and post how it worked out for you... Heads I win, tails you lose.....

 

That's great that you made the right decision for you to go local. Prime is an OTR company... not a local company. It sounds like your beef is with OTR trucking in general. It is not for you.

I just went to Prime orientation, and I didn't hear one person there advertise alot of hometime. They tell you that you will be out 4-6 weeks at a time. I just don't get how a driver can blame a company for being a bad company for keeping them out that long, when that amount of time away from home is exactly what is advertised. If you don't like OTR trucking that is fine... but don't tell everyone else that they can't like it or succeed at it.

 

I'm not solely defending Prime CJ... I was speaking for OTR trucking as a whole.
