Maybe you should do some research first.. before running your mouth...
I did NOT go to stevens school, I went to a school of my choice, paid for by me, I owe Stevens Nothing. They still owe me as of this week $279 for tuition reimbursement. I have been with Stevens for over 3 years.
All there for you to read in the aviary, and in the year in review thread.
And you are extrapolating to cover all NEW drivers from your experience.
No detail needed, have heard it many times from people who dislike stevens, or have never worked for stevens..
Stevens has good equipment for any trucking company.
Stevens treats drivers with the respect that they themselves deserve.
Anyone who expects everything handed to them, and to not have personality conflicts, is ignorant of the world.

It's not about disliking Stevens. They do have a flop house for a motel. They will and do leave their new drivers waiting for hours to be shuttled to and from the flop house. Since you did not go to their school then you are not aware that some of those redshirts, not all but some bully and push around their students. I had to deal with W in the safety dept and I certify that he is a royal ### hole who takes advantage of his position to intimidate and humiliate drivers. There is a lot of good at Stevens but there is a dark side driver. That's all I'm saying. Now you go ahead and post again driver. I'll let you have the last word.

Another good reason to not go to Stevens for training! ^^

Oh God. Stevens Trainee team. I didn't sleep.a wink with my trainee partner because the guy couldn't read a #### map to save his life. Plus he owed back child support and wanted to unload every trailer we could, no matter how fubar the load was. He was married but flirted relentlessly with all the waitresses, which is probably how he got stuck with child support in the first place, lol!

I guess even after 10 years something had to stay the.same. I never had the misfortune to stay at the Big Town Inn but the Days Inn was disaster. I once got dropped off at the Big Town when I was done with my trainer (Carlos Macias, good man though last time I saw him he went to Crete) only to find out that the rooms were full. While I waited for a ride to the Days, a prostitute came in and started talking to the desk clerk like they were old friends. That cab couldn't come quick enough!

Dumb and Dumber was abolished 3 years ago.
Now it is out with a finish trainer for 4 weeks.
My partner, wanted to stay up all night playing with the people around the truck stops, and then drive in the morning... Sure made for a long 3 weeks... but we made it with out killing anyone, and went our separate ways...
3 months later, he was given the option to quit or go through the entire training process again.. He quit.
