I did my 60,000 with prime in 2.5 month's. I stayed company on a dedicated route. Ive put 80,000 mi on my tractor in 6 months. I even collected driver of the month along the way. My one year obligation will be over in a couple of weeks, so I will not owe them a dime. As far as Prime as a training company I would highly recommend doing so. I am presently exploring o/o opportunity with a major freight company. Prime has been very good to me and I do not regret selecting Prime as my training company.
Prime or Stevens

First 35 days with O1 trainer. Then second 21 days with O2 trainer. Then solo in the grad fleet for 90 days (you are paid by the mile at this point)
Training is excellent and thorough.
Good luck on your decision. -
Fight for that recruiting bonus !!!!

Well,
I'd try to do it honestly..........would you ?? -
If you looking for Reefer FFE/Lisa/what ever other #### fleet they own hire students.... also check in to knight, they got a refrigerated division and hire students but you got start with they training company squire which isn't much different...
Look into flatbed like TMC and Maverick, they both hire rookies and train... -
Are you suggesting that he is not being honest ? Emulsified states that Stevens "Training is excellent and thorough." I have heard this same statement from many other trucking companies when talking about Stevens training. You obviously have a different opinion and I wondered what you base that on? -
Never said or implied anything about him......
Good Luck !!! -
No recruiting bonus here. I got what I wanted 1 yr experience and I owe nothing, plus I drove a brand new truck with zero miles I even pulled the plastic off the seat. I retired from another industry a couple of yrs ago, started my own business, economy went belly up, so I put my tools up for now. Im fortunate to be finantually capable to do my own thing. I plan to own several trucks. So what ever the recruiting bonus might be, means nothing to me. Just sharing my experience with Prime, I'm sure there are other companies with training that is equal too, if not better than Prime, everybody has to start somewhere.
