What will happen when I get to MO? I have a B class CDL in Illinois. I have read on another companies forum that you get a license in their state and then change back to your state after you have your A class. Is this what Prime does? Do I need to bring anything concerning my license like my MVR?

If I already know I need time off in October for like 4 days will I be able to take or should I just wait until after that to start.

I'm excited and nervous too and words of advice?

Yup, but its not up to Prime. That's part n' parcel of the federal law - adopted by the states concerning CDLs. You surrender your IL class B license, are issued a MO CDL learners permit, and will receive a MO CDL when you're done. Depending on the state, you'll have about 90 days to legally transfer the CDL to IL.

I believe you'll need a copy of your birth certificate. Perhaps one of the more recent attendees could enlighten us on that? Or... call recruiting.

??? Not sure what you mean by this...

    Take a deep breath!

Thanks so much for your help.

I have a vacation planned in October. Will I be able to get the days off easily to go on it or not?

Easier if you've finished training, not saying it can't be done and much of the same is involved. Its more complicated if not... depends on your FM getting loads to get you there, your trainer, etc. Then there's the whole effort to get you back on the training truck.

    acme65 and flash89 Thank this.
