I would never counsel going right into a lease with so little experience in the industry. Go company. Get your feet wet and learn how things work. Then think about a lease - after 2-3 years. Then you can be like Ironpony when you grow up!

Yep, that's what the plan was.
I've got nothing but time to figure out if this'll work or not. I'm leaning towards it will, but who knows. I like what I've seen so far.

Today we got to chat with more drivers, get an idea of what the pre-trip is about, and pretty much relax. More drivers are showing up to take us away one by one. The millenium building is fairly nice, though. They have a weight room, so that's good enough for me.
My roommate finally left last night on a haul out to Kentucky. Good times.

Finally got a trainer today. Tried parallel parking for the first time and (although I had to listen to instructions) managed to get it the first try.
Seems a pretty cool guy. We'll be leaving for the road on Monday, so we'll see how things go. He's got a Peterbilt as well, seems pretty good.
