Its been said? Just repeating rumors. Sleep Pointe is a company out of Wichita Kansas. They are contracted by a number of companies to provide the services that they do.

The fact that Prime gave them an area to conduct their services does not necessarily mean they own any portion of the company. If that were the case then maybe Prime owns a piece of the TSA office set up in the terminal to process TWIC cards.

Seriously... A Private room is one of your biggest complaints? (its gotta be considering you mention it over and over) Id be bunking guys 2 at a time too given the attrition rate of people sent home during orientation. Its not like they force guys to consolidate rooms as guys get sent home. My roomate got sent home on the second day and I had the room to myself for the next 9 days.

BTW, Orientation is the only week you bunk 2 to a room. For Company Drivers all other classes are single rooms when you come back for upgrade classes, trainer classes, instructor classes, etc.... L/O pay for everything themselves.

Nope Lost, you are wrong. I started driving for a local company (Moving Vans) in Nevada pulled by an old Cab Over International, My Daddy was a Ranch Foreman, My Mom was a secratary at the time. My Grand Dad I never knew, he passed when I was very young. I had an old german fellow teach me, WWII vet to be exact. At the age of 17, right after I graduated I joined the AF, in which I drove, 25' flats and rollerized, as well as 40' flats and rollerized. We used to back them into C-130's, C-141's and C-5's. hence that helped pollish my backing skills, that 2" clearance on each side is a door (aircraft) killer.
I went to Prime after being out of the AF for 14 yrs to get my CDL, as I got tired of Programming, which I received my degree in after I got out of the Air Force. Dealing with corporate type's I hate. Good money but bad Moral. Once the kids all graduated and were squared away I decided to do this.
Yes I'm a NOOB at this, hence the name Highway101, which is in reference to the study of the highway

Prime's? Nothing, as long as you stay with them for 1 year after you get done. (Not sure if that's after PSD or TNT).

There is a minimal upfront cost for your entry fee and permit. If you already have your CDL permit then you pay $100 for entry into the program. If you do not have a CDL permit you pay $150 for your permit and entry into the program. Other than that what DTB said.

It's for your DOT physical and CDL permit - using the words "entry fee" will give the naysayers ammunition on this forum.
