The monitors aren't focused to infinity like they would be in a real out-the-window vision system. So... it sets up an unfortunate reaction with some folks inner ear system.

When I upgraded Wally said they are ordering new simulators and that was back in September.

They have gotten and assembled the new simulators.

Guess who tested and passed in one of these brand new simulators tonight. That is right. I'm a boss!!!

We got in early this morning and I went to smith systems at 8am. Well it is Sunday and it is now on Sunday at 3pm. So I did that and then they said if you are here to upgrade and want to take the test or practice you can.

I ran that practice backing sim for about 10 times. I don't care it will never be like a truck but if they give you practice time use it to get used to the feel of that thing. It is your advantage.

Finally I decided to go ahead and test. I passed. These new simulators score slightly different. They say I had 3 violations which were on the side of the road. I passed with a 97%. Gotta see what else is happening in the office bright and early

I'm in such a good mood. Hugs for everyone.

Congrats. Had no doubts. You should be really proud of yourself right now.

You've worked hard for this & I'm really happy for you.

Didn't practice at all, and was first to volunteer to go first when I went in. Just wanted to get it over & hate the anticipation nerves.

Funny thing, initially I had no vertigo issues at all with the simulator. But, after getting used to actual driving that whole time in TNT, had major dizziness while doing upgrade test.

Wally messed with me big time when I finished. Asked how I did, and he said it was the worst performance he had ever seen. Kinda got that sinking stomach feeling. Then, handed me my 99 score with a grin.

I think if it wasn't 10pm and Sunday and I wasn't the only one there he wouldn't have let me do that much practice either. If they are crowded then they probably have to limit you.

I've finished my paperwork and I'm turning in lease tomorrow. No sense turning it in until then as my codeiver is not back in town yet. He should be in early in the morning. I don't think I mentioned on here I was going to lease and originally I didn't plan to but a lot of personal things financially have fallen into place. Can't wait to get running.
