Steve Young lol .But i have a heart that likes making a difference even if it's in a small way. If everyone did in a small way this country would not be in the condition it is in.
Let's all make a difference in our trucking world and post in other social media's

Posting a quick update before I crash.
Have something that isn't sitting too well with me. Thought I'd post it here. I had a run earlier in the week that was "High Val" live dispatch and all that good stuff. So I called in and got the info. I questioned the FM because the money on the run was really short for what it was
Mileage MTY 120, LD 0859
EST TOTAL SETTLEMENT 532.39
LINE 70.09
REFUSU 109.75
TOLL 9.90
FUSU 342.65
So the FM tells me that the pay isn't right that it is paying much more and that he is waiting for the correct numbers to come from sales. I'm a team player so I go ahead and accept the load. It delivered on the 21st at 11am. I messaged the FM on the QC after getting my next load and he messaged back that he still didn't have the settlement numbers. Seems wrong to me that this isn't done. Really left a bad taste with me. Does anyone else think I got screwed? -
Most likely not. I get stuff that hasn't been posted by sales a few times a year. It appears that you aren't being paid properly because the linehaul hasn't been updated, and all you're seeing is the fuel surcharge calculation plus accessorials. In the years I've been on the lease side, I've never been "screwed" by one of these deals, so I'd suggest you just put your mind at ease.
Come Monday send your FM a Qualcom message, and ask him if the rate on that load has been updated yet. Eventually it will be, your FM will probably repost the rate page to your Qualcom, and you'll be able to check your settlement Friday morning. Settlements are usually emailed Thursday morning around 3 or 4AM Central, but we have a holiday so it will be delayed a day.
BTW... "The FM???" That's your business partner, and its time you got that relationship onto a proper footing. Next time you're at the terminal, make sure you go see him/her, have a chat, and get busy on building a serious business relationship with him/her. It makes the "trust thing" go a lot smoother.Charlami and FullMetalJacket Thank this.
