Sitting out in Columbia Falls, MT this evening - had a nice long drive from Iowa up here taking the northern route through the oil patch in ND. Surprisingly, these back roads are in better shape than most interstates, and it's easier to sleep with the truck moving :D

we got out here a full day early, but haven't heard anything from the consignee and they weren't at the job site today (40 miles out of town on the side of a mountain...) Hopefully Prime is able to reach them and they show up tomorrow so we can drop this steel building and get moving.

My guess is we'll end up picking up onions in Spokane or somewhere in Idaho after this and then head back towards Springfield where I'll swap to tanker... but if this guy doesn't show up to pay for his building, we may have to take it somewhere else.

Welp, Finally made it to the Springfield terminal late Friday evening - via US-65 from Little Rock, AR. I guess my trainer wanted to get one last ##### of a road in my belt of experience before letting me go :D - I don't think he expected rain, fog, and all that road construction as well though!

Campus Inn has been booked up all weekend, but I was set up with a room at Oasis last night. Feels a bit like I'm in limbo till tomorrow when everyone returns to work, but also nice to sleep in a non-bouncing bed for a couple of days.

I'll be heading up to the terminal tomorrow to hopefully get my TWIC started, as that isn't something they bother with out in SLC.

Currently waiting for a tanker TNT trainer to finish up with, 15 thousand miles down, 15 thousand to go!!

lilnae, Lord Pablo, skellr and 2 others Thank this.
