    Sup guys

I'm think of enrolling in Prime Inc. Student Driver Program. Any current drivers or psd that can list some pros and cons of becoming a driver with Prime Inc.? I heard you don't get paid for your 1st month or so with the company is that True? Do you have to pay for your own equipment and if so what equipment and hoe much would it cost? Also I don't have family so being away from home for an extended period of time does bother me.

Go to Youtube and look up Junior Honduras. He is a Prime Trainer and discusses the entire training process. He will not discuss pay but he gives a great overview of thier training program and what to expect.

I don't really know anything about prime, but if you are concerned about not getting paid right away, consider Roehl transport. They are paying I think $500 per week during training.

I just got accepted into the PSD program. I was stuck between Prime and Roehl but Roehl doesn't accept anyone from Florida but I've been told Prime is a great company to train with and learn. I had an ex become a truck driver for Prime and liked it but ended up moving onto another company after a while and I found someone on YouTube. His name on YouTube is Trucker James. Very cool guy. Has been talking to me about doing the program and driving for Prime. He said it is a great start. I'm excited. Not getting paid at first does kind of suck but I believe it'll be worth it after I'm done with the training and I'll learn a lot. Good luck on your decision

    Jfairley00 Thanks this.

Prime is a good starter company to learn the ropes but stay away from lease to purchase.
