Where did I say I was having to defend older equipment. I have $125, 000 in capitol in my business I hold the tittle to my 2014 evolution. I do however think that buying older equipment is a good way to go as well. I've never been under the impression that leasing was long term more profitable than buying or close to equally as profitable. But leasing is a way for new people to get into the business side of trucking if they want to see if that's for them without having to buy.

Time to put an end to all this already.
The new vs old truck and buy vs lease has gone on forever.
There is no one size fit all business plan, everybody's situation and wants/needs are different.

An dude that doesn't need much income and wants to work part time would be better off with a cheaper older truck vs new 150000 truck.

A husband and wife team that lands a high dollar high service contract would perhaps be better off with a new/newer truck. If you have great contract that demends reliability you want a reliable truck that you can depend on.
    Etc etc Scenarios are endless

You've been out here long enough to own. Wish I could have such a laid back attitude about about all the money I'd be losing if I were making never ending truck payments.

Like any of the comments I've made here are any worse than some of the comments you've made in our section of the forum over the years.

So my jokes about slow Prime trucks justifies you giving me a hard time.
Okay, thank you for the clarification.

If you checked my posting history you'll see in the past I recommended Prime to new drivers multiple times and said positive things about them.
Of course that doesn't count for anything.

Your jokes? Hey I asked in a nice way that you not ask a trainee to publicly give out his trainers #'s that aren't his to share. And in return I got a sassy little remark from you something like "its the internet so its ok chill out,, bro." I like seeing others #'s too, I believe it helps all of us to share info. I also share #'s because I want to help others. But I'm not going to ask somebody who may/may not know better than to give out someone else's figures because its of low integrity, if that trainer wanted to share information they'd be on here doing so.
