How about some info from the tanker fleet. Don't hear a lot from them. Is this a money maker and mum's the word? How are the lease drivers doing... weekly truck revenue average, driver take home average etc and any advise or likes/dislikes would be great. thanks

There really aren't any of Prime's yankers on the board. So no one really has the information. The only think I know (and even that's kind of questionable) is the company cpm after upgrade. It was around 37cpm, but I haven't seen a current pay sheet in a long time. The miles aren't, generally as high as reefer or flatbed, and yanker has a pretty specific area of operations.

i wish we had some tankers on here but nope i would mind some info on the secret world of prime tanker

Just saw a Prime tanker outside of Portland, OR. Suprised me

I spoke with tanker yanker that said they run all 48, he was in Arkansas. He had a dedicated run. Theyre also getting new trailers with spreads. Have fun with that...
-
oh yeah spread...saw a few tankers yesterday in nc

40,000 pounds of shifting liquid... Theyre not as bad well full. Half full sucks....
-
Been sayin' its an all 48 operation...
-
I have a friend who has been in tanker for a year now and he said he went out west twice but it's been mostly the NJ to Chicago to Ga triangle. He is going lease next month so that may change.

Their main area of operation is the NE, but not limited to that area.
