The OP had already had 4 weeks (measured in miles - 10.000 of them) with someone sitting in the right seat 100% of the time he was driving no matter what kind of situation he was in.

At the point the OP was at in the training program, we're talking about rural, lightly traveled interstate only; not downtown LA on a Friday afternoon, no mountain grades, no serious backing - he's still at the point of getting 100% supervision on all other driving situations. So in your enlightened opinion, for rural, lightly traveled insterstate highways only, exactly when do you take the training wheels off of one of these crybabies?

GROW UP. if you can't handle being called a baby, (even though it was used as a figure of speech) don't ever turn on your CB radio, cause you'll hear much worse from drivers who know even less about you. Never ceases to amaze me just how juvenile some are who call themselves PROFESSIONAL. :biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513::biggrin_25513:

Here you go again construing things, You are really good at it, I was trained at my local Community College where the instructor was there all of the time, Then I went to Prime where I was put in the seat and told to drive, And that I did, in my several shifts behind the wheel I averaged 500 miles a shift so you tell me what the problem is here, I got to go up and down mountain grades and I may add that I did just fine, I did the afternoon traffic in LA, I did serious back on a blind side back with about 35 feet in front of the tractor, I did just fine, So who are you calling a cry baby? I hope not me, I am far from that, I just don't take the belittleing very well, It is on here as well and from this point forward I'm going to ignore you and your post.:biggrin_25516:

DJ, I see that you are none of the above, Or are to scared to admit how little training you have to be a "Professional" GROW UP? I am grown, I act as I am grown up but these trainers don't return the favor, I'm supposed to sit there and be mute and just do everything they tell me to, I have no other choice then to do this, Don't you see a patern here? It is the training process at Prime, If you don't like it there are 80 others waiting in Springfield wanting a chance to be put mute and learn the hard way how to operate like they want you to, If that doesn't work they will just boot you off the truck.

If you are going into trucking you better have a thick skin. Don't take stuff personal. That trainer doesn't know you from Adam. Try to learn as much as possible.
On the other hand, being a career military guy, I'm not going to take too much guff off anyone. I'd let it go up to a point, but if they cross the line, it's go time.
They might be taking both of us to the hospital to remove my boot from his #####.

That boot in the ### ##### always goes two ways.....I would caution anyone who with the good ol boy attitude thinks they can just whip whoever gets in their way....this is not good for business....Military or not, your subject to getting your plow cleaned....good luck and be safe

You didn't read my post, that would be only if they crossed the line type of situation.
I said you have to have a thick skin, and not take stuff personal. Try to learn as much as you can.
If someone gets in my face and starts screaming and cussing at me, then yeah, there's going to be a problem.

i understand completly...and before i say this dont take this as an insult to you or any other man of military service as i am very patriotic...i feel that too often these kids straight out of basic go to every bar they can find trying to pick a fight because they think the are tough...i have whipped guys lik this just to get to a good fight and i am not condoning fighting.....just dont lik the holier than thou syndrome that i seem to get from these military kids.....and i myself went to a military school all through highschool and decided it was not the life for me....but i learned alot of good life lessons and am a better man for it today....good luck and happy trails frdr.....
