Thanks Glenn,
I'm not with a company right now. Started with Prime, but had to come home due to some family issues. Went to work for a new company in SoCal and it was going well, til I realized that they had no intention of paying me. I'm a former exec but love driving. Right now, I'm tossing up going on Active Duty with the Marine Corps, or continuing to drive. My buddy is a lease op at Prime. I dont really want my own truck, I'll stay company. As much as I'd love to flatbed for Prime, I'm having trouble with the low pay. I'm already kicking Boyd, Maverick, and Arrow around in my brain.

I see you are in Ca. also and by your handle tells me that you are into the ocean, unless you work for the water co.I consider myself to be a waterman as well, currently work on the big pond as a commercial fisherman but need to move to another occupation due to the high cost of fuel, boat only gets 1.5 MPG
.
I am leaning toward Watkins Shepard at this point, there seems to be no bad things said about them on the board only good, and they are a small company.
Anyway just wanted to say Hello, would have PM you but this board has to many rules and I have already been warned twice about themGOOD LUCK

Unless something changed over at Prime you will be leasing the truck from Prime .

Not that I have heard . At Prime your an O/O or you lease one of thier trucks . That was what I heard not too long ago .
-
On Prime's website, they specifically say that they have 4 divisions for company drivers for those that do not wish to lease.

Interesting ..... I may have learned something new about Prime . Thanx for the info .
