I just re read this and yeah they are talking about that website.

 

If that's the one, like I said when I was in cdl school I did google searches related to the industry and it directed me here and to truckers path forums.

On Truckers path forums, one of the mods was blasting a poster for wanting to take a 34 hour reset every once in a while. He was huffing and puffing about his military credentials and how you shouldn't take breaks on the road.

I understand the military is one thing. But this is trucking....... People will survive if you take a 34 every once in a while if you're staying out for OTR for a while.

If you run for more than a month at a time, I think a 34 hour reset is reasonable. It was then that I just came here when I needed an answer or advice. Much more reasonable over here.

Take a 34 reset whenever it suits your schedule; it's no big deal. Sometimes a 34 is also good for the body and gives some time to also reset the mind so you keep your job & life in perspective.

 

On the flatbed side you will often 34 on the weekends because most of our shipping/recieving is closed.
