Everyone should calm down.
if you work for Prime then you know exactly whether the guy asking the question is a Lease Op or a Co Driver and exactly what the he was asking for.
Prime issues message with the truck's weekly MPG on Tuesday afternoon. It also includes the fleet average. From this number is where the Co Driver fuel bonus rate is set or all loads completed and scanned in within 48 hours of the depart call and before the payroll cutoff at 1600 Tuesday
Calculations are computed from all numbers download from the truck between Fridays at midnight (not exactly 0000 but close).
the QC displayed usage and mileage are stored and reset every time you fuel. I've also noticed that for the most part they are stored and reset upon each new dispatch. Though not every time.
Any Lease Op worth his salt can consider the numbers from the QC is spitting out, but would be vastly better off doing the math from tank to tank himself. Even if his LO truck was spitting out bogus numbers the data in no way effects his bottom line... pay or otherwise. LO is paying for the fuel, saved fuel is money saved directly in pocket.

Yes, everyone should calm down, I don't want to close this thread.

Actually it does affect an L/Is bottom line... that weekly fuel economy report downloaded from the ECM is used to calculate your IFTA tax bill.

Nice. I can check off "learn something new today" from my to do list.
