Can you elaborate? Inquiring minds want to know.

 

I'm about 20 minutes out,ready to be done with the grey hound

 

It's the same thing they've done for years... match your online app, with your pen and ink app that you will complete during orientation - and compare that against the background check they've done. They're looking for inconsistancies, and information that applicants might try to hide. Tickets, accidents, employment at other transportation companies. You'd be surprised at how many really bad drivers who are fired for cause try to sneak their way back in - that can be a huge liability issue for the company if you get into a serious accident.

 

Like I got my last three years Down but the seven before that I'm hazy on never drive a truck tho do you think that will be a problem

 

Heard they dont go back 10 years for non driving jobs.

 

And do they do the physical on the first day or can I have coffee and nicotine in the morning?

 

A shower and something to eat will be nice.

 

DOT physical is done on Tuesday morning, or afternoon depending on how far back in line you are

 

Absolutly ready for a shower and a meal,and I may have nodded off maybe 45 minutes after 15 hours on this #### thing

 

Remember I start a day later since I already have my CDL
