The trucks are assigned, and the pay is actually quite a bit better than when I was there. Trash really never slows down, it might be slow in one location but it's busy in another and you'll get sent there to help.

There are very odd(funny to me) google reviews about this company that keep popping up every day .
As soon as they are removed ,more show up with the same subject -
That's petty BS, I've been here close to six years and they treat me right.

TT you have my admiration for all what you have done all what you have gone through, just read the 21 pages and i am exhausted.
I wouldn’t do what you have done for multiple reasons....still you are an exemples of tenacity and determination.
You have a very good attitude, keep up the good work. -
Thanks, it's just the highs and lows of the job, trucking is far from perfect.

It’s been nearly 2 years since my last post, I’m still around, still pulling an end dump at Pritchett, still running the southeast. As I’ve grown older, and matured, I kind of kick myself in the butt for all my scattered brained approaches to work, and to Pritchett specifically over the years. I would have been here 12 years total this month, as it stands I’ve got 8 years here now, but not without looking foolish at times over the years.
I read back through the early years and realize how clueless I was to life and trucking as a whole, as I’ve grown older (36 now, I was 25 when I started), having gone through a divorce, taking years to restructure, Ive gained the knowledge of staying quiet and letting things come and pass as they will. Trucking is far from perfect, further it seems with the current environment on the road these days, but I release the brakes on Monday and set them again on Friday evenings and enjoy my time off, and unwind on the weekends. Stay safe, any questions about pritchett, end dumps, or trucking as a whole just let me know. I’ll check back in a few yearsTexas_hwy_287, 88 Alpha and JohnBoy Thank this. -
Still here, albeit this coronavirus has changed things a bit. We have our good weeks, then we have our better weeks but thank god we haven’t really had our bad weeks at all. The bigger auto manufacturers closing down have hurt us a little bit because of the demand, lack there of, steel and other raw products isn’t quite there right now. I will say this, whether it be coronavirus, or the economic crash of 08, Pritchett has never failed to pay us our weekly revenue bonus or our quarterly bonus, which increases with seniority, and for that I’m thankful.
Stay safe out there everyone, hopefully we’ll find our new normal sooner than later.Attached Files:
