I'd be happy to but isn't it an automatic ticket like a red light or smth?

    eh
Written warning with points up to $1000 fine for disobeying a traffic control device in my experience

“it takes money to make money”
How much you need that inspection?

86scotty, Oxbow and Siinman Thank this.

    ...will affect my insurance ..
I am realistically looking at all options at the moment
    1. I was 2 times at local weigh station in pleasant prairie wi - talked to officers , begged for inspection - 0 results
    2. talked to Wadsworth il weigh station officer - he said it am just checking weigh, call local state police in des plaines il which i did - not help at all , he then asked his boss for solution - ..nothing
    3. called Michigan weigh station on i94 east entering from Indiana- no voluntary inspections ...Indiana doesn't list weigh stations phones
    4. got ahold of local pd ( i know some of them have commercial vehicle enforcement unit ) - nothing
    5. ...exploring option of removing license plate and go through ws , maybe drive without headlights in the evening...another buddy suggested i55 in illinois should get you pulled over right away ( but officer might just ask to turn on the lights :) )
...I am assuming some of the truck stops can call the state trooper if you refuse to fix the brakes or change bald tire to place you out of service ..maybe 20 bucks to the service manager will help , other buddy mentioned catching trooper and asked for inspection on the truck stop or rest area

    Siinman Thanks this.

Try waving at every DOT cop you see and let them know that they’re number 1.
