Problem with Antenna

    Can anyone help this is a buddy of k
    Mines set up the Antenna won’t stay vertical when he starts driving he is running a bird perch on a Volvo he thinks the perch is to smooth the bracket has nothing to grip

    Yep I got the same problem with my little antenna. I haven't solved it yet, either. Just tighten the hell out of those bolts is all I can say. Perhaps leaning the antenna forward 30 degrees or so will help, as well.

    Just a thought, get a piece of rubber and put it in between the mount and the clamp.

    The other solution is to drill it through and put a stainless steel bolt and a locking nut.

    That will screw up the ground if it's grounding through the mount.

    Apparently he changed Antennas he’s now using a Wilson 2000 trucker
