problems mapping

    This! I used this for routing and google maps for looking at satellite images of the place I was delivering to. Just to get an idea of the area.

    How about the fact that it's a good idea to have more than one option. I have hazmat to contend with so tunnels are a thing I have to be aware of if need be. The old rand map is the way we all had at first, but time moves on and technology with it. I'm not too impressed with the GPS units out there. Not one has a great review so it's a matter of shopping around to find one more option. Thus, I'm looking at the Copilot Truck 9 gps software. I still need my iPad with google maps as I have to find chem plants that are hidden away on some of the back roads. A plethora of options is in order nowadays.

    The route you picked is not bad I've run that way to Ft.Wayne from Baltimore, get a rand mcnally truckers atlas look in back for restricted routes , but learn to ask other driver's if going to an area you are not familiar with , because GPS can get you in trouble if you totally depend on them!
